Everybody Ever Suffer by Acne
Although not all people who suffer from acne the easy fact is that most of us have acne in varying degrees at some point in our lives and a look that gets acne and why it is an interesting read.
Acne occurs when a pore is blocked because of excess skin oil (sebum) and an accumulation of dead cells. This leads to the proliferation of bacteria and other conditions that promote acne.
Hormones known as androgens play an important role in the production of sebum and, as the levels of growth hormone dramatically during adolescence is not surprising to note that most cases of acne appears at this time. Acne usually occurs in girls at age 11 and boys around the age 13 ( puberty age ).
Once acne develops tends to be a problem for boys than girls and that children produce significantly higher levels of androgens than girls. Teenage acne, however, is generally serious but nearly four out of ten cases of teen acne is severe enough to guarantee a visit to your dermatologist.
However, acne is not simply limited to adolescence and is usual seen in young and mature. Again, hormones play an important role in the presence of acne and much acne in adult women is linked to the monthly hormonal cycle.
Surprisingly enough acne can also occur in very young age and it is not uncommon for the children develop small white spots, which often last for anything from three to six weeks and then disappear spontaneously. Nor is it uncommon to find acne developing in the elderly and is sometimes seen in people in their fifties or older. In these cases, however, acne is caused by the drugs you are taking.
Finally, note that acne affects community of all races and even though it is certainly more prevalent between Caucasians, it is often in Asians, Hispanics, Blacks and other races.
Understanding the reasons that caused acne will helps us to find proper care, but also helps to dispel the myths that surround acne, such as the trust that it is due to the lack of hygiene or eating too much chocolate. Of course, these and other myths continue to circulate widely, so that the necessary work of education has yet to follow.
